The Wishbone Stool is based on the wishbone chair designed in 1949 by Denmark's most prolific furniture designer Hans Wegner.
The original Wishbone design was inspired by the classical portraits of Danish merchants sitting on Chinese Ming chairs and is considered one of his most distinguished designs from his prolific portfolio of more than 500 pieces!
This Wishbone stool is often referred to as the 'Y' stool due to its Y-shaped back, the Wishbone stool can be used as a barstool for breakfast bars or high tables.
