We use 100% high quality solid wood for all of our beds and offer any finish on all of our bed designs giving you the opportunity to create the bed of your dreams. Our premium grade wood is finished in a way which allows the natural grain and character of the wood to stand out with a natural appearance. We offer a wide selction of stains which can add a stylish tint to your bed which work with the natural grain of the wood to accentuate the colour and depth. Alternatively why not match your new bed with your decor, if you know the colour we offer the full range of Farrow & Ball colours. All our wood is sourced from sustainable forest suppliers.

About Your Bed
The Wistow Bed is a striking example of British craftsmanship. Made from solid wood by the skilful team of Against The Grain bed makers. Built to be sturdy and luxurious, the Wistow oozes character designed with a traditional solid headboard this will be the bed you want to keep coming back to. Easy to assemble wooden bed frame using easy connect bed fixings. Built with strong wide slats with looks to stand the test of time. This handmade wooden bed is made bespoke and specially for you.
Make It Your Own
Choose your size and finish to create a bed that fits both your space and style. We build beds in 14 sizes ranging from a Small Single to Emperor. Available in 18 different wood finishes, including hardwoods, softwoods and stain finishes. We also offer the option to have your bed finished in any Farrow & Ball colour, just select the Farrow & Ball colour option and choose from our selected range or contact us to confirm your colour.
Under Storage
Add an under storage drawer to your bed made from solid wood and fitted with a set of four casters for a smooth rolling pull out storage creating a bespoke storage bed. Choose from half or full size storage drawers to create the perfect handmade wooden bed with storage.
Shelves
Why not add a stylish shelf or two? The perfect alternative to a bed side table these shelves connect seamlessly to the frame of your bed.

You can also choose a complimenting alternative wood finish to your main bed frame to add that extra touch of individuality. Pair up the amount of under storage you require by mixing and matching sizes as appropriate to your chosen bed size.
